Payment can be made using by cash. Payment can also be made using Dart Credits in which you can top-up in the app using your Visa or Mastercard.

WHAT ARE DART'S OPERATING HOURS?

Dart is a 24-hour ride-booking service. Your booking is subject to the availability of taxi drivers at the time of your request. Meanwhile our office operating hours is 9.00am – 5.30pm.

HOW MUCH IS A DART CAR RIDE?

You can check the prices via app after entering desired pick-up and drop-off location, and you will be able to review ride details before booking your Dart Car.

I'M HAVING TROUBLE SIGNING IN.

Please try to sign up again. If you are experiencing this, it may be because you signed up before we went live and upgraded our servers! If you are still having trouble, please contact our support team (details at the bottom of the page).

I HAVE REACHED MY DESTINATION BUT WANT TO CONTINUE TO A SECOND DESTINATION, HOW DO I PROCEED?

No problem! You may inform the driver of your second stop and the fare is the actual meter reading at end of journey (inclusive of any surcharges and booking fee).

WHY CAN'T I TYPE AN ADDRESS FOR PICK-UP OR DROP-OFF?

Despite Dart having the best available map data in Brunei, the maps still have gaps for this region. We suggest that you input a known landmark, kampung or simpang number nearby and manually drag the pin to the intended destination on the map. We are continuously working on improving this!

I WANT TO BECOME A DART DRIVER! HOW DO I SIGN UP?

We are still hiring for Dart Car Service! Click on the 'Drive With Us' on the top menu of the main page and fill in your details.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DART TAXI AND THE DART CAR SERVICE?

Dart Taxi provides an easy way for people to book a metered taxi ride. For those interested in becoming a licensed taxi driver, please contact us and we will guide you through the process.
Dart Car is a service that offers taxi services at a discounted rate pre-agreed upon booking.


ACCOUNT & SETUP

I CAN’T REGISTER IN THE APP.

We suggest you try it again and ensure you have internet access in your device. If you still have difficulties on registering, please contact our support line which can be found below.

I CAN’T LOG IN.

There are few possibilities as why you can’t log in. Please make sure you do the steps below:

  • Check your GPS settings. Ensure your GPS is switched on and set to high frequency.
  • Ensure that your email address and phone number you entered is correct and valid
  • Ensure that you allow Dart app to access your device location and have access to internet connection

MY APP HAS AN ERROR (FAILED CONNECT TO SERVER).

If an error occurred, we probably do server maintenance or server down. It might take a while. If you are currently in a ride, please be advise with our driver and contact us as soon as possible.

INCORRECT PASSWORD.

On the login page, tap the “forget password” and provide your email address. You will need to check your email and reset your password from there. Note: if you haven’t receive any email in your inbox, please check your spam messages.

I HAVE A DART PIN ISSUE.

The pin number is sent in your phone number that you have given upon registering. The pin will be given to you via text message. If you have not receive them, we recommend you to try it again and make sure the phone number you entered is correct.

HOW TO CHANGE MY EMAIL AND PHONE NUMBER?

You can change your email and phone number by tapping your profile picture or your name on the side menu. On your profile page, you are able to edit your name, phone number and email. Once you’re done, tap update on the bottom of the screen to confirm your changes.


YOUR BOOKINGS

HOW CAN I VIEW MY RIDES?

From the app menu, tap on “My Trips”. Here you can manage all your upcoming, current, or past rides. All your future rides will be listed under “Upcoming”. If you want to view your ride history, tap on “History” to see a complete list of your past rides with dates, locations and your driver.

I NEED A RECEIPT FOR MY RIDE.

An email will be sent every time you ride with Dart. Ensure that your email is updated in your account details. Note: If you haven’t receive any email from us, please check your spam messages.

CAN I BOOK A RIDE VIA DART SUPPORT LINE?

You can call our support line to book a ride with a $2 booking fee. We are more than happy to help you book a ride but we recommend you to book a ride by downloading our app as app booking have no fee.

CAN I BOOK DART IF THE PICK-UP IN BRUNEI & DROP-OFF IN MIRI SARAWAK?

Yes you can! An additional TOL will be charged after the ride has been completed. However, you cannot use Dart to pick-up in Miri Sarawak.

CAN I BOOK FOR A LATER DATE?

Yes, you can! We have a feature where you can book a ride for a later date or time. It can be found in the summary page of your transportation i.e when you have already chosen your pick up and drop off and after you have chosen your Dart services.

I AM BOOKING A RIDE FOR 4 PASSENGERS, HOW MUCH WILL THE FARE BE?

The price is still the same when you use the app. There is no additional charge for extra passengers. However, if more than 4 passengers, we recommend you to use Dart XL as it can cater maximum 6 passengers.

I AM BRINGING BAGGAGES WITH ME, HOW MUCH WILL THE FARE BE?

The price of your ride is inclusive of baggages. However, there are additional $2 for baggages that are 3 and above. We also recommend you to note down how many passengers and baggage you bring in the "passenger info"


PAYMENT

HOW DO I PAY?

Dart uses cash payment, simply pay your driver the indicated amount. You can also pay using Dart Credits in which you can purchase using Visa or Mastercard in the app. You may select your payment preference on the summary page before booking your ride.

HOW IS THE COST CALCULATED?

The estimate for meter given is based on the calculated distance and time traveled based upon navigation data and Taxi meter Tariffs are applied. The estimate does not include surcharges or any time delays and should be used as an indication of cost only.

WHAT IS THE FINAL COST I NEED TO PAY?

For meter rides the actual charge to customer is the Taxi Meter final reading inclusive of any surcharges and booking fee.

For Dart Car the pre-agreed price is the final cost. This does not apply if final destination is changed, cost will then revert to meter reading.

CAN I USE CASH?

Yes, Dart accepts cash payment, simply select your preference on the summary page before booking your ride!
