In support of Deaf Awareness week, Dart Drivers and Dart Staff took on an eye-opening experience at a sign- language class conducted by Persatuan Orang Kurang Pendengerangan (OKP).
The class was taught by Dr Hajah Norbayah Haji Shahminan and members of the OKP. The Dart Staff and Dart Drivers are taught the basics of sign language and the ways to communicate with the deaf/mute community. At the end of the class, attendees were given a quick exam to test their knowledge learned in the class.
Dart is also opening doors to the deaf/mute community to apply as Dart Drivers, as to give them an opportunity to earn their own income.
